Before caring for someone else.
Your own heart:
never leave it behind.
I have been writing poetry for about twenty years.
I have been exploring what it means to love myself
and be kind to myself.
But the words I wrote were not all clear to me
from the very beginning.
Through my own struggles, little by little,
I have come to understand their meaning.
What I want to cherish is not love that sacrifices the self,
but love that naturally overflows when we care for our own hearts.
And I value the works themselves, in ways that play counts alone cannot measure.
An encounter with AI turned my poetry into music.
I hope they help you remember to care for yourself.
